LE DREAMRAID 2007
The concept
In the pure tradition of the first raids ! A strong internal adventure and a rewarding collective experience.
Dream Raid is a multisports in orientation by team of 4.
The stopwatch triggered off at first is stopped when the team crosses the line of arrival, about 350 km further,
after 4 - 5 days of effort, day and night.
Mandatory Checkpoints for security and control of running, set up by a discreet but very present organization.
The rivals will have to be able to live in complete autonomy and in very basic conditions …
Composed of 4 contestants among whom at least a female and an orienteur, with two helpers.
The run is opened to teams that can give proof of an experience of this type of raid.
The orienteur must be capable of guiding its team day and night in the heart of the countryside,
across mountains, the primary forests or the mining maquis, and on water by using only cards, compass, altimeter and GPS.
